2012-13 Company Audition Announcement

Oklahoma City Ballet is holding auditions for the 2012-2013 performance season. Interested dancers may audition by attending one of our open auditions.

OKC Ballet will be holding three open auditions in San Francisco, Chicago and Oklahoma City. 

-          The San Francisco audition will be 1-3 pm. Saturday February 18th at The San Francisco Ballet, 455 Franklin Street San Francisco, CA 94102 .  415.861.5600 

-          The Chicago audition will be 1-3 pm. Saturday March 3^rd at Lou Conte Dance Studio 1147 West Jackson Boulevard Chicago, IL 60607-2905. (312) 850-9766   

-          The Oklahoma City audition will be 1-3 pm. Sunday April 8^th (address is below)

Please call ahead to reserve a spot in any of the scheduled auditions by calling 405-843-9898 and asking for Jacob Sparso.  Auditioning dancers should bring a full body dance shot and resume to the audition.  Ladies should be prepared to dance center on pointe.

Interested applicants are encouraged to audition by attending one of the open auditions. However if your schedule does not permit you to attend one of the scheduled auditions, you may send a DVD in which to be considered to audition during company class.  DVD’s should include one classical variation (ladies on pointe) and one contemporary variation, in addition to basic classroom center work and should be mailed with resume and full body dance shot to the address below care of Jacob Sparso, Ballet Master.  You will then be notified by Oklahoma City Ballet if we would like to schedule an audition with you during company class.  Auditions during company class will be by invitation only.
